Dear Chorus,
I just wanted to write a quick thank you for your performance tonight at the Durham Stake Center in North Carolina. You were wonderful! You were beautiful in both song and appearance. It's easy to see the light of Christ in your smiling eyes.
I felt myself wishing that we could have filled the pews completely and the entire gym, too. I wish more people could hear what I heard and felt what I felt. But then I remembered something that one of you said: "Jesus didn't die for all of us; he died for each of us," and, "I like to think that if I was the only one in the world that would benefit from the atonement, he would have still done it." I appreciated that idea, and I want you to know that even if no one else benefited from your fireside tonight, I did, and I hope that you would have traveled all the way across the country just for me.
